D’awww, you met him? Were you all, “come here precious baby, let me protect you” and was he all, “Security!” No wait, that would probably be me. :P Not getting his and Janet Fielding’s autographs last year when I had the chance is my Big Regret.

The detailed version of our meeting is right here, although it was copy-pasted from my Study Abroad blog so that’s why it sounds like I’m writing for people who don’t know Doctor Who very well.

But as far as the “let me protect you” thing went, I did ask if I could hug him “because Adric really needs a hug.” And he said “oh, thank you! That’s sweet!” (He and Frazer are equally great huggers, BTW.)
